MY PARLIAMENTARY work is a vital part of my job. Parliamentary debate and discussion remains at the heart of British life and I do my very best to promote Wrexham’s interests in Westminster

My job involves much more than making speeches in the House. I have special interests in Transport, Education, Home Affairs and the Environment, and have used my time in Parliament to highlight each of them and their relevance to Wrexham. In June this year, I was appointed Parliamentary Under Secretary of State in the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills. Among the areas my post covers are the automotive and aerospace industries.  The job is extremely interesting and vital to the work of the Government.
